Any one had enough experiance with this over the past few months to write a guide?

The program seems to offer lots more than i use it for (which isnt much really!) but ive no idea where to start! Was thinking maybe someone else could post some ballpark figures for what a standard (ish) well performing zed should look like....

Cheers all

That'd be a great idea. So far all I've done is rev the engine and watch the dials go round (admittedly pretending I'm paul walker - the corsa and saxo drivers think I'm well cool!).

Must be a record for the most minimalist use of data scan. I got it to easily reset the ecu though when I get my air filter.

You would have thought that the people who "developed" this stuff would have written a user guide .............. :x: :mac1:

I hear you danny, and ive just about driven and watched the dials move, the replayed the recording to show lots of useless stats about the run id just done!

It appears to have LOTS of features but il be damned if i have any idea where to start using them

The correct values/behaviour for each sensor can be found in the factory service manual, in the Fuel and Emission Control section:

This bit

I had a play with the sprint/acceleration timers... They would be soooooooo much fun if it weren't for the fact that my KPH->MPH converter cocks it up :(

Within datascan you can configure the wheel size, if it will let you make your rolling diameter 50% bigger than normal, it should compensate for the fact that 1/3 of your speedo signals are being lost (maybe).

no, you need to set the speed reading to KPH, when you have a MPH convertor installed. The readings will then be in MPH (although it will say "kph").

Common problem with speedo convertors, and they affect PAS & Hicas too.

The Developer currently does not offer a Manual, which keeps the cost down. However I have started preparing a Manual myself, for customers...however its still in the "notes" stages, and Im trying to work on it as and when I have the time.

i installed a dash cam and a mics and used a screen capturing program so i can record evorything on to m laptop and play it back later ilove it
