you could use fiberglass doors, but then you would need a roll cage with a side bar

i did ask around for fibre glass doors but i dont really want too mess around too much with the weight of the car.

dont need to fit fibre glass doors or anything like that plenty of soleniod kits on ebay you can get them with remote control or hidden buttons just make sure you get kit with heavy duty solenoids , rated at about 40 lbs pull if i remember right. you might need to fit poppers i think they call them, small spring loaded gizmo,s that push the door open available on ebay as well . hth.

And don't forget to wire in some extra access points (ie inside one of the wheel arches) in case the power fails and you can't open the doors via the remote/popper. Talk to Leigh (Friday on here) - he's completely de-locked his car.

i spoke to luke earlier today from the z centre, he advised me to go to maplin and get some 2 wire solenoids and some buttons as he has done and is all relatively cheap. the thing is know is that im not sure wether to put in some poppers and how to incorporate a fob into the system! im going to give it a go on thursday

Removed the door handles to mine, well the bodyshop did. I bought some strong door solenoids from the US on ebay. Theyve been wired up to my alarm, so I can pop the drivers door with my keyfob, also the guys at http://www.safeandsoundchester.co.uk put in a special sensor, so I have another way to access the car. The guys in the North West have seen it and been pretty amazed :)
