Thanks for everyones views on the best exhaust to choose for my TT. If I do opt to

go for a cat back system is this something I can fit myself? Has anyone had a go at this? Does even fitting a cat-back system

help the turbos breathe or should I stick with my stock items and save the cash!

Let me know, cheers

i think it needs to be done at an exhaust shop.

maby try option motorsport they fit as well.

it should yield at least 20 bhp

good luck

Of course you could do it yourself if you want but why?

I was charged 1.5 hours labour to fit mine.

The place I bought it from claimed a 30hp gain for an HKS Super Drager!

Simon P

Well I've got a Mongoose exhaust and, if I remember correctly, Simon's car was considerably quieter than mine.

cant we please lay of this lobsided thing craig we all know this forum is not for opinions or experiences its all about ............ i actually dont know what it is all about.

if you got 30 bhp from your super drager then so did i so whoo hoo.

HKS SUPER DRAGGER ROCKS HKS SUPER DRAGGER ROCKS HKS SUPER DRAGGER ROCKS HKS SUPER DRAGGER ROCKS HKS SUPER DRAGGER ROCKS HKS SUPER DRAGGER ROCKS hehe

oh god it satrts over and over

hks super dragger keeps "rollin rollin rollin " he he he lol

im gona try shag my exhaust when my car gets back

Sorry guys. Never in a million year will yoy hope to get 30bhp from the HKS Super Drager.

In fact the Drager is probably the exhaust you are likely to get the leaset Horsepower gain from. Drager was made for looks and a more rounded sound. However the Drager is a cracker but you are looking at Stainless back box and MILD STEEL centre.

Most systems in stock. Buy Buy Buy at Nico`s Discount!!!!

ha hear this anders another jealous person he he he he he he lol

i know you wont get that type of power from my exhaust but then you wont get that from any exhaust (i standto be corrected)

I got the Blitz Exhaust its the bollocks!

what did you pay for it and is it a single sided exhaust (i only past comment once i know lol)

Yup. Jealousy all over the gaff Warren.

Submarine,

The Bollocks. I'm sure its not that bad m8. You can always get yourself the king of all exausts hehe.

Craig,

Did you say lopsided - lol

I like it :-)

LOL. Steve, have you told your missus about those turbo's you've wacked on your credit card or would you like me to call and tell her???

Anders,

There's a story behind these turbo's and I haven't got them.

Actually, the GB order hasn't even been placed yet :-(

I'll just hold my breath and hope I don't pass out in the meantime.

Steve

Craig, yup mines the one in the picture with 2 * 4" pipes and it's the HKS Super Drager. not sure about the 30 hp claim but that weekend the JWT chip went in and that certainly made the difference. When Dave Marley turned up in his car you couldn't hear mine. The mongoose is much loader. The HKS I have is a little louder than stock.

I like the 2 exit pipes the single one means you look like all the Nova SR owners who nail a Catering Size Maxwell house coffee tin to the back of the car!!!!!!!

Let the Flames begin!

Simon P

you have a super dragger does it say so on the exhaust?

just curious as i was told the super dragger only comes in a one sided classieness which guys with twin exhausts would never know about (hey anders) lol

where is the pic of your car

Mines the car in the rides section under 'Simon P' it came with an HKS sticker but I've not noticed a marking on it.

If I were to choose again i'd go for the full stainless as it's rusting in places which I'm not too happy about. TDI claimed it was stainless where it mattered. They said full stainless sounds too tinny and is prone to ringing but Dave Marley's SS mongoose sounded OK to me.

Simon P.

Get the Remus stainless steel, twin large pipes on each side sounds the nuts.

Elite in Rainham sell them. I have had mine for over four years and it still looks new.

One pipe---- whats that all about!! Why have one when you can have four.
