Farewell to the forum, bye bye to my Zed ..

All,

I am having to wave goodbye to my beloved Zed.

Kids and long legs + Zed dont work!

Its going to a good home (Michael Shanks from the forum). I hope he enjoys it as much as I have over the last 18 months, Ive had a blast.

Every time Ive drove its brought a smile to my face and will be sorely missed.

Id like to say thanks to the forum for providing great advice when its needed,

and much entertainment.

Who knows, when funds allow I might get another, or sell the kids to white slavery ...

Until then im going down in the world,

Cavelier 2.5 V6, no slouch (0-60 7.4)

but certainly no Zed!

Best of luck guys.

Glenn (92 UK TT (until Sat at least ..))

Sorry to hear that mate, baby seats and nippers are OK but anything older and it gets cramped in the back!

My kids are now 11 and 13 and both don't dare to complain if they are in the back of the Z, they know their street cred is sooo much better than their mates. Also that the other alternative is for them to walk or go by bus. I know they suffer on long journeys but we keep them to a minimum and most of the time they don't want to be with us anyway.

Z first, everything else second!

GlennS,

Thats one sorry arse excuse for getting a Crapalier. Give us an email, and I will get you a Skyline for £14000 GTR VSPEC 95.

Or if you must a LEXUS 400 with V8 power for descent money.

Leigh.

ps:- Sorry to see you leave the Z world.

Why not fold the rear seats down and hold them is place horizontally with the luggage strap. Stops them putting muddy foot prints on the leather as well. wink.gif

His loss is my Gain redface.gif)

Im sitting at my desk with the cash on my laptop waiting for tomorrow :O),

Ill give you a call tonigt glenn to discuss arrangements tomorrow,

PPS, Glenn has kept this car in immaculate condition, I fell in love with it the second i saw it smile.gif

Mike

I sold my first Z ages ago, didn't stop me coming to the forum though, you will be back.

I've owned a 280ZX, 300ZX z31, 300ZX z32, and now a Z31 Turbo model. The Z32 had to go to release some cash due to the arrival of a baby! These cars get into your blood though, and I'm sure to buy another Z32 in the near future wink.gif

Jez - is that you over there on the other lot? Quiet compared to this lot aren't they? biggrin.gif

Shame the Zed has got to go, but keeping it in the forum is a great thing - if not for you for Mike...

I bought my car from a forum member, Chris Foster and he still comes by here from time to time and I hope you still do too smile.gif

I have three kids, 14,11 and 6 and by gum they go in the back of the Zed, perhaps not at the same time but I bought the Taliban Townace for days out, still if she's godda go..... frown.gif

Best of luck mate and don't be a stranger to 300zx.co.uk - hell if your cav is detonating perhaps we can help, I know if the lights are crap I can recommend a top tip with kitchen foil wink.gif wink.gif LOL!

All the best mate.

Sorry to hear the Z's going. Good luck with your new motor.

I just have one child (6.5 years old) who can still squeeze into the back of my Z although my missus has to put the seat forward a bit.

My passenger front is stuck right back (electric motor seems to have given up the ghost) and either my 14yr old or my 11yr old can sit behind me and the 6yr old sits with her legs over the center part of the rear seat...

I love em so much and would walk on hot coals for 'em, but if they dare to complain that the back seats of the zed are uncomfortable then, by gum, they are catching the bus and we are meeting at Tesco when the bus arrives LMAO!!!
