:headvswal and they said my problem with my alarm is the sirens backup battery thats why it doesnt chirp anymore. and a new one is blurry expensive.

 

 

anybody ever taken apart a clifford siren box to replace battery??

Just taken it apart. Battery is a 6 cell unit from GP batteries. 7.2v 300mAh part number GP30AAK6Y6. Did a google on the part number and got a foreign website. Look like sub_aa cells to me. Might be worth contacting GP themselves http://www.gpbatteries.co.uk/ see if they can recommend a replacement? Took me all of 30 seconds to have it apart so no great biggie :)

 

If you still struggle you can have this heap of junk. TBH I'd rather replace the whole alarm system than a battery in a clifford - there's only one good clifford - a dead one :D ;)

No probs at all bud :) Replacement should be easy enough to find - as long as its nicad, 7.2v 300mAh - there's plebty of room in there :)
