As some of you may know i recently accepted the S/E REO's position .. But do to the moral of this forum it doesnt leave me with much enthusiasm to push this club forward .. im fantatical about the Zeds , have owned 2 in the last 6 years , i have met some great guys from here over the past year

 

As some of you were also aware i ran for the NEO's postion, but due to our Chairman who promised the earth then couldnt be bothered to return calls etc i decided against ..which was another factor for cancelling the Convoy

 

i wanted to reorganise the Convoy event .. but does it realy seem worth it

 

i'll be at the meets for a chin wag and a laugh .. but thats it for me

Comments like that are exactly whats wrong around here. You are in the position of NEO, YOU should be setting an example, not stirring it all up!

The bitchiness around HAS to stop from ALL sides. Tit-for-tat is for a school playground, grow up all of you.

 

Nice one dave exactly what i was thinking. Im in another Forum that Chunk is involved with ? I am also involved with 2 other car forums and 2 music forums.

Is chunk a member of all the other forums i use ? No he is not FFS

just for the record i have never banned anyone on this site,,im sure the commitee will put up a statement as to why certain people were banned

i dont mean offence jason but your replies arent coming over well with the members your replies are below the belt and insulting, i dont see handing out bans like sweets good for this club. we are a club, a community, friends and look out for each other when members get band and were not told and we ask were told its none of our business, if i were band i would like the people on this site to know why as i see them all as friends.

 

Thats what I thought. A community with a common interest.

 

As members we really should know what is going on, because it's starting more and more to feel less like our club. (which I think is where the old day quotes come from, because it used to) and more like some institution where the management are out of touch with the members and constantly telling us to like it or lump it. I assure You it's not just me many more who I talk to feel the same way

 

Before anyone tells me I'm talking boll*cks then just have a look at the number of threads just like this. Also the number of important people we seem to have lost over the last 2 years. Although most not perminantley, but when and if they do return their imput is greatly deminished.

 

Even more so the number of long standing members who looking but don't bother to post. Yet they still talk to each other. (I know there are other issuses that are the cause)

 

We need a place where we the members get a say and a vote. We the members (because it is our club. Without us there is no club regardless what moderators say) need to be able to have a say and use the poll feature to vote. The Trouble causers will become transparent and either go away, get shunned or tow the line.

 

The mods do a job that many here would not, but I ask the mods, all of you. To ask yourself if you have the enthusiasum needed for the job. I understand it is often a thankless task and most of us really appreciate what you do, but to remove someone like Chunk who certainly did have the drive seems very counter productive. Let face it he's not gone cos he didn't want to do the job did he? Otherwise he wouldn't be doing what he's doing and everyone that steps down or chooses to abstain from our community wouldn't all be saying the same thing. Would they??

i dont like the "if you dont like it here f**k off to chunk's site" WTF is this all about i joined here for the love of my car and wouldn't leave, i have joined touque-power because it welcomes people with all cars, dont split the clubs because there are comments that are pointing this way. the mods have done great work and i ask them mac1, steve, jason please sort it out so we can get back to normal
