October 5, 200619 yr Does anyone know how easy or not this procedure is and what exactly is involved? Please help! Rich
October 5, 200619 yr get in touch with zx mad, as he's about to buy my tt discs to put on his NA - afaik you will only need to change discs pads and calipers, but double check ;)
October 5, 200619 yr Make sure you do have different calipers and discs than the TT. Not all NA's do, only some of the earlier years. (for example my 92 NA has the larger 30mm brakes) I have a full TT brake setup (front and rear discs, pads & calipers) available.

Rich You'll need TT calipers, if you want to use TT discs, the TT discs are thicker 30mm instead of 28mm on the NA.Both have a diameter of 300mm or so. The pads are the same. If your unsure which calipers you have, measure the width of the slot in the caliper where the brake disc run. Its 30mm wide on NA calipers and 33mm on TT's. Swapping the calipers is quite easy, you'll have to undo the caliper from the hub to change the disc, just undo the brake pipe from the caliper at the same time to remove the caliper. Just remember to bleed the brakes afterwards.
