And on the fifth day God said 'Let there be light' and I could see for bloody miles!

Oh aye!

Two headlights sorted with the Jethro TT Illuminati method and what, no WHAT a difference!!! smile.gif

Took it out about half an hour ago to get some Strongbow and Tabs from the local shop and the local shipping lanes thought a new lighthouse had been erected smile.gif LMAO!!

Its great, I can drive like a hoolie at night now and all the little hedgehogs and wombats are safe in the knowledge I can see them, and with the new Potenza SO3's on the back I can powerslide over their little heads wink.gif

I'm a happy Zeder again, now to get the splitter fixed and the EVC-IV fitted, ahhh it's great to have my car back on the road smile.gif

Jeff, I know I could well be doing you out of some business (you're a nice guy so you can take it) but my top three tips for Headlight upgrade not shown on your posts are;

1) Buy the Mini Flexible ratchet set.

2) Take the wheels off.

3) Buy a small nut and bolt to replace the headlight nuts nearest the rad, so that you can undo them from top. (you'll all see what I mean when you do the upgrade)

Here are some pics of my headlight upgrade. There is a picture of the Kamasa Mini flexible ratchet that I used. BELIEVE me when I say DON'T try and do it without this if you want to remain sane.

Once I bought this the job was made sooo much easier.

Agreed 100% Grant - I replaced the two rear nuts with LONG nuts and bolts - if you blue tack the bolt head and use a big washer again with blue tack it will sit under the slam panel without falling out and CAUSING BLOODY GRIEF!!!!!

I also took of the front wheels and put the car high up on stands coz you WILL drop stuff under the car (and mines low-oh so low!)

Whilst the light rubbers are off also take the opportunity to clean em and buff em up - or even matt black spray em, and also make sure you re attach the main beam block connector BEFORE you put the lights back in and put the nuts on.

Worth it in the long run....

quite happy to help you one sunday afternoon Simon m8 - no problem.
