yes, I used the FAQ, now I´m even more confused what to choose.

 

I got Porsche 993 Turbos at the front (322mm drilled Brembos) which are ok [not great, though] and just installed stock sized drilled and grooved discs at the rear. Was thinking about red/green stuff for "rear" before I learnt about Porterfield and Hawk. An issue (besides improved braking power, of course) is NOT to kill my discs as some pads are said to do.

 

Any experience and/or recommendations for drilled/grooved discs?

Ferodo DS range are SUPERB IMO! Good when cold and awesome when warmed up. Very low dusting etc. Best pads I have EVER used!!! Think the DS3000 range is the current 'road use' product, will do some digging for you :)

They do also do them for the 993 - just be sure to get the right year ;) IMO rear brakes aren't worth that much attention - once you upgrade the front brakes there is even more weight transfer to the fronts under hard braking so more chance for the rears to lock up....

had DS on my 200sx and they were great on track days and normal use! IF you got the cash they are great brake pads!

and get some of there yellows on good performance as the reds but with hardly any disc wear and a good mileage pad if you try other forums they are all raving about them and fairly cheap from these
