...i know i promised i wouldn't do it but left my car down at Kwik Fit to have its oil flushed, refilled and a new filter fitted.

I would have taken it to micky's but i know he's probably busy at the mo and i don't have alot of time spae and Kwik Fit is only 5 mins walk from my house.

Was hoping it was my mate there because i know he's alright with my cars and arranged with him yesterday before i took it down but he's away today ill :(

His replacements were one baseball loon with mad joining eyebrows and his mate who said nothing but you knew he'd killed a few kittens in his time lol

Oh well, i've taken a note of the mileage and left bugger all petrol in it (just below empty) :D lol

They said it should be done before 4pm hopefully they're just waiting on the filter.

Just hope i don't come back to find bits smashed in.... :nono: :slap:

Micky will have it by the sounds of it, the guy who i left my number with just phoned me to warn me if i was racing at the pod that my nearside turbo was leaking "alot" of oil and i should get it checked out by my "mate with the zed garage" sh*t.

Given micky a call and left a message to ask him if i can pop it over this afternoon so just have to wait for him to ring me back.

I would have taken it to micky but i know he's busy at the mo and i haven't got alot of time myself to arrange picking up and dropping off cars and kwik fit is only 5 mins away.

I normally do most of the stuff myself just work is tough at the mo

Touch wood mate, hope it'll be ok.

I took mine to my local 'F1 Auto centre' once. They tried to put it on their ramp but the front bumper was too low and hit it - crunch - so they reversed and tried again - crunch - and again - crunch.

I took it back from them and never went back.

I usually have no problem with my local kwik fit because my mate works there so he looks after it. In fact i think my last 5 cars have all been sorted out there for oil changes and never had a problem.

Just glad someone noticed a problem in case i'd gone on the unlimited runs on the pod at the weekend and killed the turbo

Just hope they get the oil change finished early so i can get over to mickys and settle my mind they're talking rubbish

As long as they use a decent oil and filter then it should be OK.

I have used ATS for an oil change before - they used Shell Helix Ultra and a Nissan filter but I stayed with the car and watched them every second!!

But at £34 all in that's cheaper than I could have got 4 litres of the stuff from a Shell garage

I thought it worth a go as I normally buy the oil and filter then get my local garage to do it.....

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

i always use my local kwik fit for jobs on my car.

it obviously helps as i know them all who work there n they're glad to work on a real car for a change plus they never ever take it out on the road cos they say its too powerfull for them.

i have to take them out in it. its the law they keep telling me!?!

Chris.

Thought you said it ran like a dream, I would take it back if it gave me times like that lol. You cant get better than kwik fit fitter
