I recently swapped the engine on my Dec 1994 MK 4 TT Auto and the donor engine from a early 1994 MK3 TT Manual.

Can anyone explain what you believe are the differences on the fuel systems? The garage changed the turbos over, and I believe they had to do something with the fuel system at the last minute due to incompatible connections?

The car is going back tomorrow for them to trace the petrol smell on acceleration, so anything you could tell me would be really helpful as another forum member has suggested so differences in fuel system compatibility

Pre Sept ( i think ) 94's used different feed injectors and so require changing the end connectors to suit, so you had new style connectors before, now you have old style ;) Other than that can't see why it should effect owt else fuel wise.
