Hi all,

 

My windscreen washer jets seem to have stopped working..(yes there is water in the bottle!) the noise of the ..er ..jets is still there only..no water!

 

Anyone else had this?

My left one decided to block itself recently.

I took the pipe off the jet nozzle to prove the water was pumping out ok then I removed the nozzle itself.

Inside is a ballbearing valve that was jammed closed.

After a little persuasion it all works again.

Thank goodness that on reading this thread you didnt ask where you could wire the lights on your washer jets too! (It seems to be fiarly common on zeds to have weak washer jets, if you search, one of the guys has produced a little guide on how to clean up the motor and contacts to improve the pressure/flow)

hahah, no don't think i'll be wiring any lights to them!!!!
