I have lost my switch ignition circuit from my zed today. I have checked the fuses in the drivers footwell and all appears well. The dashboard lights all work (diff oil hicas alternator i think) s does the interior light and the car starts and runs fine. My radio, boost controller carputer etc all are not recieveing the switched signal ?

Have i missed a fuse? Where abouts is the relay for this circuit? Cheers guys

Also is the run/acc relay hidden behind the fuse box in the footwell? (Nice design that fuse box, couldnt be more difficult to access if they tried i think!)

There may be an extra inline fuse somewhere in the circuit....

I have checked all the fuses i can see, wondered if the relay might be dead? I take it all the fuses for this circuit are inside the car and not under the bonnet? Like wise for the relay? which one is it? Thanks guys

There is a main ignition fuse in with the relays under the bonnet passenger side front, from what I can remember its got a silly ident, something like 'Engine IC' which tends to throw you off the scent. Its a large fuse type and easily spotted when blown.

I had a look this morning before work in the large fuse box with the relays in and didnt see any large fuses at all? Had a look at my lables as well and didnt have anything like engine IC, had a small fuse for engine cont but that didnt look blown?

If it helps my rear wiper doesnt work either? I will try and check that fuse later, tried this morning but couldnt get enough light into the fuse box.

Your right, its called 'engine cont'. Take it out to check it and make sure it is making a circuit. Sorry about the name, I knew it was engine something.

Work this one out! Checked the engine cont fuse all was fine, so went back into the drivers side footwell fuse box and replaced the rear wiper fuse that had blown and suddenly my entire acc circuit is back? Is this something to do with the way all zeds are wired or has someone fooked mine up over the years off after market radios etc being installed?

Man this confused me!

Sounds like its been fooked about with to me mate.

According to the manual that circuit should be:

"Rear wiper motor, rear washer motor, time control unit, clock, door mirror system"

Good! Guess i will have to do a bit of digging this weekend! Might just wire my own new acc circuit for my carputer amps etc with a new relay etc and just accept the old acc to switch the relay!
