explain doesnt work.

Please give more detail

Have you checked the fuse?

Does the Cruise control light come on when you press the button and the and the steering buttons now work.?

If that is the case. Try driving a long, and lift up your brake pedal with your foot and see if it activates then?

  • Author

the light on the display works but when i try and set the speed...nothing!

the acceleration button doesnt do anything or the set or cancel.

is the fuse just with all the other fuses?!

will check that and the brake pedal later

cheers!

Auto or manual? If its manual its usually the clutch switch needs adjusting...

Could be the brake switch then. Could also be a dry joint in the control unit. There's a large resistor in there which is prone to this IIRC

Andy

Could you explain for me where the clutch switch is on a manual? is it down by the pedals?

Kev

The clutch switch is above the top end of the pedal Kev. As you push the pedal it moves away from the switch. Absolute nightmare to get to and adjust. I ended up removing the clocks and going in from above in the end...
