Wait till' you read the tickets!! :x: :x:

I was meant to be going, but my mate decided to shave off 1 of my eye brows & make me a bald patch in the crown area! It is funny but i still feel a tw@t so giving it a miss i think, do keep looking at my hat though? Love to see a zx on the track, have a good time and remember to press record!

Cheers Steve

Nice one that Alan, it will film me coming past ya lol!!!! :D :D

As he sits in the ditch! :nelson: :o

I didn't know anyone was doing Donnington or I'd had been up for it.

Have raced it on the bikes a couple of times many moons ago, but would have love this.

Is this an area avent?

:o :o :headvswal

Well I'll have to start looking in National events in future won't I :smash:

Ah its Japfest!! that why I thought it was a track day. I've seen the standard of some of the driving at these events and wouldn't really like the idea of being removed from the track by some halfwitt in a Sooby who thinks he can brake from 120mph in 80 feet.

Been there on my TZ Pagett 400 Yamaha and I still limp on cold days and he like wise thinks of me and my explanation of inertia every time he cleans his front dentures.

Make sure you take track day insurance out.

i cant go either now car wont be back from bodyshop untill monday now:( unless i can cadge a lift off anyone and split the cost of fuel hehe :)

Done Donnington once or twice on bikes.

My advice (in any driving situation) is: have them on the brakes! ;)

is that so it films u going backwards again alan lol

If you don,t spin your not trying hard enough :x: well thats wot i keep telling myself :headvswal

I can't risk it with my intermittent brake problem lol

Will be coming over for the day though, it'd seem a shame to miss the closest meet ever for me :D 6 miles i think? :D

I know it's too late now but for the furture, for Japfest events (castle combe and Donington) I always book ZX dedicated track session so it is just us out there, and you know you can trust a ZX driver

Seriously I think the guys that went out this year will back me up when I say the ZX dedicated session are great fun and as safe as motorsport can be...............except when you come up the road to see a V8 facing the wrong way

So its just 300's?????

Good fun had by all then

What was the weather like and how many managed to bottom out on that monster dip. When you hit that a serious speed on a bike it's like getting kicked in the ribs

it was a mixture of all Z/ZX

240s, 260s, a Z31 and a couple of 350Z as well as 300s (Oh and Chunks skyline!)

Mind you those 240s can be a bit scary, I heard two went staight on at the chicane side by side as niether wanted to be the first to brake!!

The first session was in the dry but the second was a bit slippery to say the least!!

But yes, good fun was had by all!
