Firstly I had hoped that given the average inteligence of this group

and the OBVIOUS PILE OF BULLSHIT in the body of the post that this

wouldnt be necassary but on reflection and reading through this I'd

better clarify for you:One point at a time..... with subtitles for the hard of thinking...

 

Now, further factual details for the record.

 

I am not now nor have I ever been an employee, associate, or

aquaintance of the staff at Xoticar.

I make no judgements about them or the right or wrong of 300z's

claims.

My first contact with them came from the "heads up" I sent them and

the related abuse teams.

Any and all personal info mentioned is in the public domain already.

Therefore I am not either the "sarf london car

dealer"as some in the hackers forum have speculated

or the "Amatuer Cybersleuth" someone else mentioned

Xoticar are however aware of this thread and the others on this subject

elsewhere...

 

I posted this massage here so

those people I wanted to see it could do so.

 

It was never my purpose in posting here to involve the members of this

newsgroup in anything, legal or otherwise, other than as spectators -

which you are by default....yes?

I do not intend the content to reflect on this site per-se. It just happens to be a public place to wave 300z's dirty laundry around in........no one here is being implicated in any way in any alleged wrongdoing.

I suggest those of you who are so quick to post about legality and libel etc might do well to check out the facts before you spout any more crap here.... not to mention reading ALL the relevant posts elsewhere Try the thread entitled "Naughty Naughty" in alt.2600.hackers for instance and see the clarifying post there.

 

You will see for instance that anyone who knows ANYTHING about the hacking scene saw STRAIGHT THROUGH the HUGE PILE OF OBVIOUS BOLLOX contained in the mail that went out to 300z..... you lot reacting as you are just goes to show that that level of observation and intelligence clearly doesnt extend across groups.

 

Three acurately targeted google searches, one visit to 192.com and a couple of Whois database queries was all it took to catch the fool, no amazing hacking skills are being claimed....

As explained in alt.2600.hackers.. I have a little more respect for the members there than 300z, It was not very clever of him to attempt what he did and I would not be supprised if there were repercussions for him from that but I cannot speculate and would not condone..

"whois" again and again and again.....then I did some

To close...and again for the record, Xoticar ecieved an e-mail

informing them of the danger they were in on the morning after the

post by 300z. The young lady who recieved it was, understandably,

quite worried and a little afraid of what people from the hacking community may

do in response.

 

I spent some time assuring her that most people there were level headed

and discrete enough to treat him as he deserved and at this point I, and they

recognise two people from there.......you know who you are so "Thanks to you both,

respect!" but next time leave it with the overflow wind up

ok?..lol.. )

 

I was asked several times if they should call the police. My answer

(believe or not i dont care) was that they should not....As frodo

pounts out in the Naught naughty thread on alt.2600.hackers there isnt really a crime beyond 300z posting the passwords

and proving a case would be a pain in the ass....

As I have said I have no connection to Xoticar, I have recieved no

payments in connection with this and expect none.

I repeat, the rights and wrongs of their personal disputes are not for me to explore.

That "heads up" was also sent to the abuse teams at the relevant

networks,

It was my hope that a suitably over the top and direct public response to his idiot post might serve as enough of a warning to him if it was backed up by what will probably be no more than a warning from his ISP.

 

So, as of now, A file has been mailed to Xoticar with copies of posts,

mails, etc.

The abuse teams have the same.

I have advised Xoticar that I do NOT think the police are either appropriate or needed but the choice is,as ever, theirs and I will support their decision whatever it may be.

 

Obviously our man has not yet felt the need to try to explain himself to them or to apologise.... I STRONGLY sugest he do both.

 

When are you fucks going to realise,what 300z did was MONUMENTALY stupid, I had to talk REALLY quickly to prevent the police being called on day one. Why?.... I'm beginning to wonder myself .....

I believe the memmbers of this forum are now aware of what happend with regards to 300z and Xoticar. I see no need to take this matter further on this medium than already has done.

 

The Point of fact as my fellow memmbers have pointed out is that you are acutally harming the reputation of the company that has asked you in good faith to represent them.

 

I talked to Bill from Xoticar on the matter i would not have thought this would have been his desired cause of action.

 

I would suggest you get in touch directly with 300z you can arrange a suitable outcome with him. That way all parties involved may be able to reach a amicable outcome.

 

In the language you seem to prefer - yes some Fucked up shit happened everyone is pissed off about it. Im sure some parties regret their actions in hind site !

 

This forum need play no further part - however as you are obviously not aware this is not just frequented by 300zx owners but a few Supra, Impreza, 200sx and skyline owners also drop by , some of whome run there own websites of s similar nature - do you really want to air all this out to a large number of potential customers of Xoticar.

 

By all means send the contents of these messagers to bill - We know our house is in order we have been thru this shit too many times already ! - I think you will find he will not be happy with your actions !

 

Infact IMO you have done more damage on here than 300z did on the Hackers BS forum.

Well he has got a point in one respect, is Warren going to try and offer an explanation as to why "Captured" has got it in for him??

 

Even though BB headers can be "adjusted" point still is that there is a problem between captured and 300z and this doesn't sound like someone just starting on warren.

 

So warren care to offer an explanation? I think its the least that everyone can expect. We have only heard the side of Captured.

From your posts it is obvious that you are uneducated and going about things the wrong way. If you want to go after people for crimes they commit on the internet you are free to do so, but there is no reason to publicly humiliate anyone. The correct method would be to notify the offender, the ISP and possibly law enforcement if appropriate.

 

I work with some of the best law firms in the US and Europe on a daily basis handling similar incidents and am well aware of the legal issues, and frankly anyone with understanding of the law would laugh at your posts. When any notification is made it should be made in a formal, respectable letter or email that will be taken seriously by everyone involved,`no in some script kiddy language.
