4-Wheel Drive 300ZX......>>>

My mechanic said that its possible to use the same system as the Skyline does.

That is: From 0..60Km or something 4-wheel drive and then from 60...and over 2-wheel drive.

I want to know if anyone attempt to do this before.

What u think about it?

Wasn't this attempted in design stages? I think it would have made the car higher up, longer and much, much heavier. Seeing as the Z is such a lard arse I wouldn't wanna increase the weight, get rid of some would be nice like with the seats for starters. wink.gif

The race is cancelled twice due to heavy rain.

In the last few days the weather is fine so i am expecting for a new date.

I will post some info as soon as know something.

There is a book call 'Nissan 300ZX - The enthusiast's Companion that details why they made it rear wheel drive rather than 4 wheel drive, as Timmy said it raised the bonnet by a couple of inches which changed the line of the car.

Itsnt the Skyline only a small percentage 4WD. I thought it was mostly rear wheel drive and only put power to the front when the rear starts to slip.

option motorsport will do this little job for you but it'll cost you approx £12-16'000
