Stupid Question

Hi,

Excuse my lack of mechanical knowledge,

I just wondered if anyone had a diagram of where to position a trolley jack/axle stands under a Z. So that I don't knock the tracking out or something?

Regards,

Mark H

Cheers Vijay,

I'm a fireman and have seen the consequences of bad jacking on some poor soul who wouldn't have been doing the hokie cokie for some time afterwards. Is yours the car I saw in a bodyshop in Nottingham by the way?

Mark H

Yeah, Ive got a mechanic mate who has seen jacks fail over the years and seen the damage - make sure you use stands if your gonna get under!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car was at Frank's place in Nottingham in November, gonna go back soon.

Vijay

Hey Vijay - when you say Frank's place, is that F.G. Accident Repair Bodyshop in Nottingham? I'm looking for this type of place but there doesn't appear to be any Z-friendly place closer to Heathrow than Nottingham. (FFS)

Would be interested in your opinion on price / performance (by e-mail if you prefer). Thanks - Gio
