Over at Leon's (Alunox in Wrexham) today with JD to start work on Leon's own V8 and to plan out what we do next on the builds. Took the opportunity to take some photos of my engine while it's test fitted in a scrapper we're using. All in all it's a pretty damn good fit :) :

Stop teasing me !! I need to push fowards with my v8 project now

Impressed with how low it actually sits in there ! Plenty of room for the custom ITB intakes

Just say the word mate ;)

Yep, unlike the Yank conversion, going dry sump allows plenty (well, plenty-ish ;)) of clearance so we don't have to resort to sticking it through the bonnet! ;)

Looks like there is more space under the bonnet with the v8 like that than a normal twin turbo lump! Should be good to see these 2 cars finished and running

3 cars: JD is building an engine waaaay more mental than mine or Leon's (still using the VH45DE). ;) :D

Think its probably called a VH50DE now

Things should start to happen again now. Been a bit of a delay due to Leon having some massive jobs come in and fill the workshop for about 3 months. Not really been able to get anything done in that time  Well apart from buying loads more daft parts to put on!
