Hello, I need your help guys :D

I'm having major probs getting my Twin turbo into 5th gear at high RPM.

Every other gear is fine but gunning it going from 4th to 5th is a no go, it goes halfway in then just pops out never fully engaging. The only time it will go in is at v.low rpm e.g less than 200rpm which is not practical.I have done a few mods but nothing that would stress the 'box although I do have a flea bay short shifter fitted.

Could it possibly be the synchros going??

i would say that the short shift kit is to blame, perhaps its not throwing the level foward enough to engage 5th?
