On Channel 5 at 19:00 this evening. Looks like it is a repeat of one on the other night which had an item on a 400bhp Pulsar and shows it dumping on Dodge Viper (!) driven by Vikki Butler-Crumpet. Plus Quentin gets all righteous and indignant about speed cameras - he is your friend after all.

Hehe, next week is a buch of modified saxos?!? oh dear, its men and motors all over again.

Not wanting to spoil everything, but i think the Papster GTIr race was a bit bollox, namely, as good as doing a donut in the viper at the start of the race hehe, hmmmm.

Maybe people would like to discuss the program after further viewing tonite???

i watched last nights programme....i thought it was a refreshing change even though i was dubious of the viper/nissan race but then again the gtir does have four wheel drive and always spank most of the big rear wheel drive muscle cars at trax due to them spinning......i gotta say that lambo was nice and i think its good that the smaller car peeps in saxos and stuff will get to strut their stuff as i know we have all started in things similar to them unless of course you were born a rich mummies boy. the trouble with any car programme is they're never going to be able to cater for everyones taste

I'm with tooley on this one Watched it last night - what a refreshing change!!! Some cars that a) we actually would WANT to drive and b) that we can afford - NICE ONE

 

The pulsar race was a forgone conclusion really - two completely different cars good at completely different things - if the race had been done from 50mph I know which car would have won....

 

Anyway - I'm all for it - who knows we might be able to get them to do a feature on us?
