elec window

i was putting the drivers side window up the otherday and it made a grinding then a clunk as it closed. now it doesnt open or anything.

does anyone know if its gonna be the relay or the motor??

the passenger side still works.

    Could be the motor assy, or you could of pulled the plug out!

    Best bet is to take the door panel off and get your electrical meter out and go checking.

    Incidentally, when you press the button now, can you hear a clicking sound coming from just below the drivers pull handle on the door? If you can then the relay is working, if not then maybe that could be your problem. Either way it's panel off time.
