Just a tip, start off with whoever you are with the change your motor rather than cahnge company. I moved from a Celica to the 300 with direct line and still only pay £420 fully comp (had it with them for three years now). Don't forget that your post code will make a difference. Note the thread on the 300 vs GTO, the Mrs has her GTO TT insured for about the same.

I'm 30 with 10 points and a modded import.

£750 from A-Plan.

Tesco's and Norwich Union Direct are also very good at the moment.

My previous company who I was with for 5 years wanted £2500 so even though I lost 10 months no claims it was still worth leaving em by a long way.

Mines £578 fully comp with tesco 24 years old 4 yrs no claims clean licence (now, been banned twice when i was 18!)parked in a garage naturally and a fucking enormous excess!! £550

I was ok until I touched the engine, body/exhaust/wheels they dont seem to care about, but touch an induction kit, ECU, upgraded turbos or 555 injectors and wow do the insurers leave the building FAST.

A-PLAN (0845 0711234) are the most competitive for the second year running, beating 'everyone' by at least £400. The renewal notice stated £795 and that's before haggling!

This is for my modified imported MK4 Supra TT. I'm 29 with 1 SP30, living in the Derby area with full no claims bonus (protected)

Our insurance is cheap 'cause we live in the middle of nowhere. Even after foot n mouth there are more sheep than people in Cumbria!
