We are building a Monster 300ZX Fully Drag Car with 350hp of NOS

We got the turbos today, our JUN engine is ready and now we are preparing the chassis.

The car will be tuned by Mike Kojama (JUN AUTO) coming from Japan

And let me tell you that if it works, we are aiming for 6 second passes. NO JOKE

Jason Farrow: You remember that chassis when you came to see us right!! Thats the one :)

Ahhh i suppose if its not a road just a pure drag car then it doesnt matter.

Would be interested to see what the inlet manifold looks like when its done and i would guess theres at least 2 or 3 people on here which would be interested ;) would they give a discount if there making 3 or 4 sets rather than a one off??

Mike

Am waitting to see also the result also. If its fits nicely without any problems then i can probably add myself to the list and try to get a deal.

Those are the ones i am talking about.

Intake Manifolds

ive asked a few people if they could build them, ive even asked escort racing but they just said its a one off and they will never give out the plans or make one ever again etc!! silly thing is if you look at at them its all made from aluminium piping cut ti different angles

I understand that because as the guy told me it might look easy but is a very difficult job to do (throttle bodies detailing, chambers, air passages, match it with lower intake. etc.)

About the fuel rails we will wait first to see how it fits and then we can move on doing the fuel rails. However i didnt talk with him about the them yet.

6000 stall on the t/c  why so high bud, would of thought the tubs would of spooled up well before that and allso seems to be past peak power on launch

running a twin T78 setup even with NOS you wouldnt be fully on boost by 6000 revs ;) great reliable turbos but not the quickest of spooling up so you need to keep the revs that high to keep it in the power band which i would have thought would be 5000 - 8000 revs poss 8500 revs

Mike

Dont envy you trying to make the power steering and alternator fit with them monsters in ;)

Would be very very interested in the intake manifolds and what sort of price you could do them for :)

Mike

junk the powesteering anyway, you wont need that on a 1/4mile

actually to add, i wouldnt want to drive a 300 with no p.steering bad enough pushing the *******s!
