would be nice though- one piston on the brakes for every one in the engine!

a v8+8! :D

Lol! :D ;) No worries mate, any advice is always taken on board and gratefully received :) It might all prove academic as I have a friend in Japan on the hunt for a good condition 2nd hand kit...something in a Trust or Endless flavour if I'm lucky! (fingers well and truly crossed on that one!)

sounds like the finished product is going to be very tasty indeed! what power are you running in your v8 mate? and what are you using the car for when its finished?

iv got the 350z brembos (front and rear) i was talki ng about for my 500hp track 300zx, and im told they are perfectly adequate for the task as stock, and im planning a few upgrades when the discs and pads wear out - DBA5000xs discs and ferrodo pads. cost me a grand for the set.

is there a recognised limit when it comes to brakes, or is it a case of the skys the limit as long as your pockets are just as limitless? ;)

More info please mate.:)

Bud the kit is exactly the same make as the one sold via others on the forum but instead of the more common skyline disc / Z caliper option it is made for using 350z discs with Z calipers. It is a great upgrade over stock but obviously not quite as good as a full disc and caliper upgrade. The beauty is though when you get those 350Z calipers you can bolt them straight on.

I bought it in error as I had R33 discs on the way not 350z discs. So it is totally 100% un-used.

PM me if you want it £80 plus whatever postage is.

See the pic the 350z disc spacer is on the left the R33 disc spacer on the right.

PS traders and others this is a one-off sale due to mis-purchase hence the price.

I wish my pockets were limitless but sadly it's far from the case (it pays to be "economical" with the truth regarding budget with her indoors as well! Lol! ;)) With the sale of my existing set-up (the DBA discs and Ferrodo pads are new and unused) I'd be looking for a kit costing no more than £1500-1800 really.

Hoping for ~450bhp when she's done (john dixon, also on here has taken his to a more extreme level and will be aiming for ~600bhp when all's said and done). The car has been taken up as the demo/show car for a company called Bodywork Plus. What will hopefully make it stand out from the crowd on the show circuit is that it will have the power to match the looks. All show and no go is something I can't abide! She'll be used for a lot of fast back road driving (abiding by the speed limit naturally ;)) and some track use (albeit rarely as the bodyshop will have forty fits...paint job+gravel trap = expensive! Lol!). The two V8's will definately be taken for a Euro trip to visit the Ring all being well (and I'm currently looking into more sponsorship for mine to do the Gumball run). All good fun, just can't wait for it to be finished now! :)
