Hi All. Im after a set of 17 for my Z.

 

I like the idea of a split rim wider rear with 5 spokes not to thick a spoke but not a blade. I think LENSO do a style but the rears aint wider. Does anyone know what im talking about if so please firer the make and model of these wheels.

 

Any links or pics of any kind will be great. Im not into 18s and i do honnestly like the standard 16 on the Z with the right tyre. However if i got a nice set of these 17s im after they would do my job nicely.

I'd go for 18s. 17s look a little small on the Z32. My split rims are 18s, and to be honest, I could quite happily go one size up.

These are the wheels I dream about. Maybe one day I'll get a set. If not, they'll be on the NSX that will replace the Z in a few years time.

Yeah, but imagine them after a couple of our salt spray winters.

You don't usually go buying rims like that to go taking them out in the winter though. Besides, a well made expensive wheel will last quite a long time provided they are cared for. Ie, cleaned regularly, polished and not rammed into curbs.

 

My Z won't even go near a road during the winter.

cleaning is key, it should be made a ritual :cool:

Certainly is for me. I demount mine once a month and do the insides as well. That's about every 100 miles! LOL

yeh im the same, cant stand a dirty car, the cleaner it is: the more people admire the hard work gone in to it!

only to buy as daily drivers were dirty, and seeing them dirty gets me thinking i wonder when the last time it was serviced :rolleyes: , so it all goes hand in hand.

Never would of guessed they were 17's. They look much more like 18's. Very nice.

Mate Keep an eye out for Nismo LMGT2's made by RAYS :bow: sound like exactly what you want. They were and upgrade for the Z in the nismo catalogues.
