Speed sensor part number

I recently bought what was advertised as a 300zx tt manual speed sensor from ebay, tried to fit today but it's the wrong thing.

 

Can anyon tell me what part 25911-40P11 is for?

    Hi mate all i can tell you because i've just bought one from mjp.is the right stock no is 25911-40p10. i would have thought that was for an n/a when you say it's no good what do you mean?

    It's too small, doesn't fit in far enough.

    These are the available partnumbers:

     

    25911-40p10 : TT, MT

    25911-40p11 : TT, AT

    25911-30p10 : NA, MT

    25911-30p12 : NA, AT

    If the car has been converted from auto-manual at some stage then it may have had an NA box fitted instead of a TT one. Seen one like this before and had endless problems trying to get the starter to mesh correctly with the flywheel after fitting a new clutch and flywheel for a TT.... :rolleyes:

    just checked with nissan,25911-40p10 is for the manual tt. ishould think the one you have is for the auto
