Yeah thats it, the bloke who ownes it is called bond and he says it needs new brakes and exhausts to get it back on the road from storage. I thinking of offering my z and the golf for the car as a project, but it may not be enough!

does look a monster and i bet it sounds nice ;)

i would be tempted to ring jurgen via the website and ask him what it needs as i know he will be truthful

the plastic fantastic .....go like stink in a straight line, very tourquey but dissapointing in the twisties ...the sound is good but jumps to fanstastic when side pipes are fitted ..you did say needs new exhaust :) ......loose the bug scoop , in this climate it will serioulsy ruin your day every time its slightly moist , dusty, or wet ....

carbs tend to Ice up but water heating the manifold cures that relatively quickly ,

pose factor 12 out of 10 .........not thinking of taking up hair dressing are you ??

The pics were taken when he had it on the road, been in storage for 3 years since then. Its running but brakes are sezied, it also now has side exit pipes! He still has the rear backboxes tho.

Gonna let it run on ebay and contact me if the auction is unsucsessful

He does kind of say:

I enjoyed doing work on this and now it's finnished I've lost interest..... but it still needs quite a lot of work.....

Looks very cool though. Probably not many MPG tho!

at least it not going to give me ecu errors all day! - I'm probably dreaming tho

Well if I wasn't buying a house I'd swap my zed for that little baby without hesitation. Imagine the noise it makes!! And it's a manual, which is pretty rare for a 'vette, or at least it was when I was thinking of getting one. Do it bud, you know you want to.

My uncle had two silver ones, one he drove and one for parts, not stating that all the Stingrays are bad but his broke alot. He spent winter working on it and summer driving it, if he has been upgrade to newwer parts maybe he fixxed all the problems or aybe he never had problems at all. My uncle did drive it very hard, yes it dose not hug the road like the Zed but it was a nice car to be seen it and yes it was LOUD. He sold his for $45,000 US 8 years ago.

if you like crusin get it if you like the track get a earlier corvete, the ray has to much power to wieght and is narrow even with the huge tires. That just my opinion I wouldn't mind owning one for weekend driving.

he said that he would be interested in a px for the z if it didnt sell on ebay. It only made 6.600 and didnt make the reserve. oh dear!

How much is he wanting for it then? eBay's not a great place for selling that kind of car tbh. Never going to fetch a decent price on there.
