vauxhall cavelier td

got someone here offering me a burgundy l-reg 1.7 td vauxhall cav. all mots. available, i know he hasnt had a prob in the last three years trustworthy person. 600 was the price. 124000 miles.

£600 is a little steep unless it's a CDX model. Pretty good engines, but slow, Cavalier's are tough as old boots. I've had a few of them and both of them were excellent.

£400 is a reasonable price. The later Cavaliers' bodies were fully galvanised and suffered a lot less from rust than the early ones. I had an L reg Cavalier last year as a runabout. Paid £200 and it had Zero rust on it. It was an 1800 though, so not as desirable as an oil burner.

I also had a Cavalier GSi about 3 years ago as a daily runner. Only paid £650 for that and what a lovely car for the money. Actually, I miss this car...

ah the good old times i used to have a calibra which i brought for 200 and sold on for 500. leather interior electric everything silver.
