TBH mate if your not sure what your doing and no one can give you the advise you need to make you feel confident about doing it your self, i would leave it to the pro's, you have spent your hardearned, ladt thing you want is to bugger it up then spend more than it would have cost to get it fitted sorting it out.

however to answer your Q'sthe rear bumoer skin needs to be bonded on to the origonalrear bumper and i think the skirts need to be bonded on to the car as well but not to sure on that one, you may just need to fit them either end and under the kick plate inside the door.

I'm sure some one who knows more than me will be along in a bit to help you out... good luck

Was gonna say the same thing.........

Its not that big bud.........if you take your beer goggles off it might help

.........its alot smaller then what i had previously............ill try shrink it a little more but then you cant see the blonde properly :p

Move the far right hand pic to below the other 2 then  And send the blonde my way :D She's obviously never had a proper shag she can still keep her legs close together

Ill fix it later but if anyone else complains about it being to large then im gonna send them your way lol

what do you think would be the best thing to do this with some gool old glue?

I have no idea but i know the stuff that was used on my rear Greddy bumper was fooking strong..........i dont think any type of old glue is gonna work.........best ask a bodyshop to do it as you know it will be done right (aslong as theyre competent enough to do it)

I would'int know mate...........im not the best at this kind of thing.........ask your local bodyshop

You need to use sikaflex 221

right o thanks ill look in to that

Trust me don't do it yourself or you'll end up with an abortion for sure.

Take it to the body shop. Even if that means saving up for a few weeks.

Any polyurethane sealer(i.e Tigerseal) will do,sideskirts included but I would take the advice above mate, get it done proper-like! :)

my dad worked at a body shop for 8 years and im really good at fiber glass work plus i have more time than cash to put in to this car its not my only driver plus i have some dents and stuff i need to fix on the car so it will have to be painted its my project car i picked it up for $500.00 usd it hase a dent in the 1/4 panal but it runs great(it dident run when i bought it) all i need to do now (besides body work) is find out wie it dies if i shift it out of gear at 40 mph and find the noise in the rear end

I was interested in getting one a while ago. I am sure that you can screw the new "skin" from where the number plate sits and also on the sides behind the red reflectors - remove them first - once they are out you can then get a G clamp in to help bond together (once screwed and glues). I am also sure they use a strong bonding agent called tigerseal or seakaflex. A Great bloke to talk to is Luke at zcentre - i was going to get one from him but changed my options on bodykit - he is very helpful (still got different kit from him).

Cheers

hi mate last year i fitted a full kit to a mini i found that fibre glass is not realy that good the trade use a bonding agent called stickaflex this is used to bond original wings etc i found that if you position with a couple of self tapers make sure its exactly where you want then remove from car apply stickaflex re-hang apply self tapers until stickaflex goes off remove self tappers and fill small hole, also remember if its a kit where edges meet each other hang both parts to achieve correct position hope this helps cheers pete
