Been advised that this is a great firm that offer a while u wait service on ZX prop shafts, they also tend to keep the centre bearings in stock so no need to worry about that and they replace the UJ's with serviceable ones...

Will be taking a prop shaft to these guys next week and will advise on cost / service etc... web link as below :)

Ask them how much for a 1 piece prop ;)

Will ask:)

I decided against the one-piece. Don't like the idea of no centre support to take some of the weight. I recon you're going to run into problems with other transmission bearings after a while without it. If the prop doesn't ned to flex in the middle then why would nissan have designed it to do so???

.....Pile-on!!!!!

The centre bearing isn't there to support the weight, the prop is two piece to reduce vibration. Keeping the UJ and CV joints aligned. Modern advances mean you don't need it anymore :D

karlos how much did propshaft.co.uk charge then? any of these companies should be able to provide similar levels of service but Reco was specifically recommended to me so gonna give them a try...
