Hi, planning to remove the plenum on my uk tt for polishing et etc...easy enuff to do or is there more to it?

It's a bit of a pig, especially if it's not been removed before and all the EGR and throttle body heating pipes are in place. Took me nearly 4 hours !

4 hours Andy and you know what ur doing!! ah well, have to do it sometime..also with it removed, I can get to some of the pipework at the back of the engine and replace them as a preventitive measure..anything that must be done?

Worth bypassing the coolant hoses to the TBs while you are at it, also consider removing the egr but this involves quite a lot more (fidly) work...
