As above really.

If, say for instance, I was taking a TT engine and auto box from an Import, and transplanting it into something else, could I be able to get it to run ok ?

Would it still need the ECU ? the PTU, the CAS ??

How would the timing, injectors work ??

Can the ECU be used and modified, or is this beyond normal boundaries ??

Just an idea thats floating around in my head at the moment, but a serious one at that !

Can do what I am thinking of with a normal carb set up, but looking at something a bit more, kinda different.

Slightly off topic but about 8 years ago, my Father and I put a 4 litre Rangerover engine into the back of a mini van, that was a hoot to drive, people didnt know what had hit them.

coolant flowing through the frame tubes. Just humour me, eh ?

I ordered a front crossmember for an Audi the other day that we had accident repair work on and it was also used as an IC pipe and had air running through it so there is another idea for ya!
