just heard he died after a sting ray stung him in the chest, i loved this guy and intended going to his zoo in OZ very sad :cry: R.I.P

A sad sad loss

I heard the same things about the footage as you guys. The reason I didn't think the stingray picture was disrespectful is because the guy is dealing with in dangerous moments everyday and I'd expect he'd have a similar attitude to what we had in the Marines. You develop a 'black humour' to get through things. The guys a legend IMO,

yep i read that the australian prim minister isnt allowing the footage to be shown on T.V no doubt it wll find its way onto the net some how, i think it should be left unseen out of respect, same as those sick jokes that have started already :nono: please keep them off the site they aint funny!! incase anyone is thinking of posting any.

R.I.P Steve. Top bloke, I will miss him immensely. Was only watching him on Discovery last weekend too................... :(:(:(
