i think i whant to replace my altinator b/c my belt will not shut up its ajusted right and it screams i tryed tighting and loosining it so i think my alt is dragging so i am looking at the alternators i have a big speaker system and a 1200 cca batt so im thinking if all the diffrance between the alternators are the amps ill go with the higher one to charge my batt faster

Get a TT alternator...those deliver a higher amperage.

A little tip that works is to drill out the curved adjuster bar where the main adjusting nut/bolt stops by around 1/4inch,(more if you wish)this will give you plenty to adjust up the belt,.

be careful with overtensioning the aux. belt(s)

it can cause excessive wear of the main crank bearings

well i could tighten it untill it snaps and kills my berings and my belt would still squeak so i need to eliminat drag and i think my altinator is dragging some one said a tt alternator but what years a 90-93 94-96 ???
