Ok the story goes like this!!!Back in Nov-00 i bought a damaged 92 300ZX cause ive always liked them.It had Drivers wing and front bumper damage and would not run.

I first bought the car, the C D manual and managed to buy an immac wing the same colour a headlight and bumper parts for £250.00.

i fitted all that in dec and set about sorting the engine. Compression was very low,

all plugs were firing, it turned out to be badly blown head gaskets, I removed both heads in the car to reveal water in the oil and pitted cam followers and wear on 2 sep cam lobes. Ive now bought another low mileage engine c/w turbos which ive heard running. Ive now removed the old bottom end cleaned up the new engine like new and also the engine compartment Today is D day im fitting the replacement motor c/w new timing belt, water pump,u/drive pulley, belts etc.

Considering i havent driven a 300ZX before do you reckon it the drive will be worth waiting for and has anyone out there done the same thing? Cheers Beamer
