Hi Andy

What is involved with installing a courtesy light delay?

Thanks

Martin

It's a simple circuit that you install between the light and an earth point. I was too lazy to make one so bought one off ebay for a few quid.

Andy, as I have the indiglo SS side tread plates fitted, would this interferer with them?

Depends on how they are wired. Maybe, maybe not ...

nice brace!

Did it come with the covers to hide the holes in the trim?

do these actually make much difference? i know they are supposed to stop body flex but is it noticable?

Ive got one of those light delays that im going to use with a delay relay as well. That way i should get extra light at full strength then it fading out when finished! (At least thats the theory!)

Where did you connect yours andy?

Yes, they are kind of leatherette things. When I first saw them I thought they looked a little tacky, but when in place they are fine, match well and like the brace are a perfect fit - there is no adjustment, none is required !! Just like the front one.

It actualy takes about 10 seconds before it starts to fade, so no additional delay is required. I installed it in the space above the map reading lighs - it's only tiny.

It's debatable of course, but you can easily demonstrate how much the body flexes by jacking up one corner with the doors open and then trying to close one of them.

I already have updated dampers, anti-roll bars and front/rear strut braces. Overall there is a big difference over a standard car.

One last thing...

Where did you get it from anf how much did it cost? :)

If you don't mind me asking
