Advice On Buying 300 Zx?

ADVICE WANTED ON BUYING 300 ZX Hi about to possibley get my hands on a 300zx. got a few questions , if anyone out there can help? The car is an import on an H plate and auto, ive been told that its still restricted to 115 mph ish so ive been told. Now ive never heard of this so quite scepticle, is this a common thing? can they be de restricted and if so is it exspensive? The speedo is also in kilometers ph, is it possible to get a dial kit and fit it or will it need re calibrating? Any advice would be grately appreciated, cheers.

Yup, its a possibility to still be restricted, there are little gadgets etc to de-restrict, as far as the clocks - you could buy my uk clockset ;) plug, plug.

Just out of interest how much for the uk clock set? not got the car yet.

Yes they're restricted to 112mph from Japan.

Fitting an aftermarket chip (cheap from people on here) will remove the restriction, and there no requirement to have the speedo in mph, just takes a few weeks getting used to :wack::D

Mowgs - you shouldn't have to advertise a set of UK clocks much, hands, arms and legs are normally snapped off in the rush to buy them :D

thanks for the advice m8, will have to check out price and availability. I'll ask about on this site, just joined today.
