February 8, 200124 yr I was told that the econ button disengages the a/c pump, so the revs should go up when i press the it. mine go down. have i got an ozy Z?
February 8, 200124 yr Rick Don't worry, your Z is working correctly. When I had my Z (before it was nicked)it would do the same. Basically with full air con, the idle will increase slightly to compensate for the power sap from the engine (I think. So when u go into econ. mode there is less work for the engine so it brings the idle (revs) back down. Hope this helps William Flint
