I know these things need to be lit up all the time, but do they have a dimmer function for when you turn the lights on?

Cheers

No.

All depends what you do with the illumination wire I suppose.

you could always wire it into the clock dimmer circuit then they would dim with the lights.

Think I will have to get a multimeter on the case and see what feeds I can find. I know the clock and a/c displays both dim with the lights on, gauges are going in a pillar mount so the a/c pod would be closer to splice into, will see what is available. Unless of course theres someone here who knows allready.

thay auto dim wen ya turn ya lights on got oil presure water temp at mo boost on its way

im not usein standard gauges on car so i dont have to run wires under bonnet water oil taping all wires behind clocks ill let u know which plug s and wot colour wires are

I used them in my rover and they DID have an illlumiation wire, which makes them duller when the lights are on at night. I just left it off and had them bright all the time. Good gauges - i always use autogauge ones now, have el ones in the z.
