Took the 300 out for its weekly spin and in the course of 10 minutes and about 15 miles round the houses trip I was challenged by 4 cars for a race. 3.0 S type. 2.0 Honda prelude. Sri vectra and a G reg BMW 3 series. Why do they bother? Do they just want to see how much faster my car is or do they really belive they might have a chance? I dont do the big head thing as it temps fate I am just proud of my ownership and I spose I do show off now and again but I didnt even bother with this little lot today.

 

Anyway as you might imagine the smile is again broad across my face :)

Had the same with a polo 1.1 last night screaming past me flashing his lights to try and get me to race him and i just let him go past with his 7 girl hareem in the back seat

First day i got my Mister2 the first car i pulled up against the lights with was a porsche 911 turbo

 

I had a go just to see how fast the car was and blimey it kept up with him for about 3 seconds then he burnt off at full tilt :D Fantastic noise :D hehe

For some strange reason every time i have overtaken a Volvo S80 executive barge they give chase lol.

to be honest i dont race much these days as there is far too many "unmarked" cop cars around,volvos,vectras,and beemers :mad: iff i wanna go fast i do it on my own nowdays :)

They seem to be bombing round in Octavias too these days.

On the way back from the Redcar meet there was an Audi right up my back weaving in and out. Left him for dead every time I came off the round about, but when I had to slow down he was back right up behind me doing the same thing. In the end I got that sick of him I just pulled into a bus stop and let him go. What a proper w*nker it turned out to be a 1.8 A3. Ha Ha what a sad dreamer.
