I've just done a filter change on my car this week,oil filter,fuel and two air,they cost me just under 50 quid to buy and fitted them my self.Including the oil everything came to 70 quid,spark plugs were fine as they were replaced not that long ago,but if you were having the work done by a garage then there would be further labour charges on top of that at their going rate??

services from me range from £50 for oil change to £500 for full service

Oil change every 3000 miles for a TT need only cost £40. I pay £32 for Shell thingy synthetic oil and £8 for a Nissan OEM oil filter.

so where is the best place for a simple oil change?

do it yourself its the easiest thing you could do to an engine.

yip i'd do it yourself and funnily enough it has one of the easiest oil filters to get access to.
