Just been laying down beside my Zed taking a look underneath and have noticed a small oil residue covering the pipes. Possible oil leakage were the prop shalf meets the rear diff. Advice please peeps

i have the same eileen, its travelled back from the rear crank seal on mine. if it is that its nothing to worry about too much, as long as its not leaking so bad that the whole underside of your car is oiled! change it the next time you need to remove your autobox for a re-build... probably next month or so... :p

possibly the diff oil seal leaking,or check between casing,it does happen from time to time that the casing becomes loose or the seal becomes useless,you can check for tightness of the casing,i think its a ring of 12mm bolts

Oh yuk, so under the car I have to go :headvswal :headvswal Thanks Guys once I get it on a trolley Jack I'll investiage a little closer and at the same time I'll put in that Engine Oil Drain Valve so I can do the oil change all in one fast scoop. LOL

 

 

Been looking at my back brakes too, not so good both indeed of new disc's and pads. More worn on the drivers side, might explain why I tapped the REX's rear bumper in traffic on saturday mmmm no wonder he's always out breaking me :headvswal :headvswal
