It says in the manual and I qoute

"The remote control battery life is about three years. As an indication that the batteries need replacing, the green LED on the remote will flash when you depress the button instead of illuminating continuously as normal. The remote control uses two lithium CR1220 batteries which are avaliable from your fitment centre and most camera shops. To change the batteries, undo the two philps screws on the back of the remote. Place the remote on a flat surface with the button and LED facing upwards. Gently separate the two halves to expose the batteries. Remove the old batteries and insert the new batteries observing the correct polarity. The polarity is shown on the plastic."

If you have the emergency card with the override number you can order new fobs from autowatch if that helps?
