Just looking at the ECU off the 1994 Manual TT I am breaking and am not sure how to tell if is standard or modified? Pics below. Any help greatfully received.

You can't tell from that pic, you need to remove the 4 screws holding the board in and see if the chip in top left corner is soldered in or in a socket..socketed is modified.

ECU itself is standard, but you need to see if its socketed as Sb007 says.

It looks like a recon one from nissan.

A significant number of the 'standard' units are remanufactured by Nissan. I can only assumed that have been repaired for some reason.

Standard ECU then? Is it best to sell on here or do other nissans use it as an upgrade?

That should be good then as it will be even newer than the 1994 year of the car?
