oil dipstick still coming out , ive changed the pcv,s done a comp test which is good but im still getting blow back through the dipstick the engine also started makig a noise kind of tapping noise but its kind of squeaky as well any ideas ?????????

does the car use any water ?

does the car smoke or use oil ?

Rings :( had the same thing on an old evo.

Comp test checked out, No smoke, drove fine appart from a slight loss of power at higher revs and thats when it would push the dipstic up and spray oil all over the engine.

The only way to properly check the rings is to have a "leak-down test".

yeah done a leak down test some loss but nothing more than expected same thing happens as dafox says at high revs the dipstick comes out and pissis oil everywhere whats goin on ?????

did you change the pcv pipes aswell ?

the only thing you can do is try fitting an aftermarket breather system like i have?? i dont run PVC valves and mine was getting pressurised and pi55ing oil out as well but this stopped it ;) but it did turn out to be the piston which was damaged!! ran fine, no smoke at all but i had 2 cracks in 1 piston!!

i think this is my problem mate i think there is something dodgy going on in there, im gonna buy another zed and break this one up i think
