Thinking of getting a 300zx auto but i know I will eventually want a manual conversion on it. I have seen that the zen garage are advertising the job for £400 labour. Is that just the labour charge? +VAT? do they supply the gearbox also? how much does this cost? and how long does the job take?

I have emailed them asking the same things but no reply yet. Just wondering if anyone on here knows the details

Main varibale is down to the parts, labour for this job is running about £400 at the moment. So if you can source the parts cheaper adjust the prices accordingly

Most of the time you can get all the Parts needed for a Manual conversion (Used) for around £500 - £700 plus labour unless you do the work yourself. ;)

zen garage charge £400 labour and you have to source parts yourself, ztech who are doing mine at the moment charge £1500 plus vat including all parts and rps street clutch they also give you a waranty, where as the zen garage dont because you supply the parts,if you know what your doing you can do the job yourself if you can source the parts, but i think £1500 plus vat is really cheep for the amount of work involved and ryan has a great reputation.

It is £400 all in and it is just for the labour, and we do guarantee our labour, manual conversions kits are pretty thin on the ground and it works out cheaper if the customer can source his own :)
