Is there a difference between them. Which is better for our cars. Is there an improvement on performance between them and stock plugs.

Thanks Guys

ive had irridium in mine ever since ive had it and never had any probs, alot of garages turn there nose up at them but like ive said never had any probs

All depends on application. For NOS use iridium plugs. For performance turbo motors use platinum as it is easier to regap them (strongly advised against gapping an iridium as they are fragile). Iridium plugs still use a nickel based ground electrode, hence the slightly shorter life in comparison to platinums.
