Guys,

Does anybody have a tracker fitted to their car?

If so does anybody know what the cheapest tracker in the market is that will have a positive effect on the insurance?

Featured Replies

I got a tracker monitor fitted.

£299 fitted, £119 a year subscription

Theres other models that cost more, theres one coming out where you can actually go online and see where you car is, been told each time you do this though it costs money.

Good if someone steals it as you can go round the house and beat f**k outta them!!

I don't suppose the installation fee covers any of the first years registration costs?

The insurance side is an iffy one mate.

Normally if the car is not worth enough to warrant a tracker fitted then you won't get a discount.

However having said that im sure there will be some companies that will give you a discount

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

No subscription to anyone and IIRC you can check your car from your PC at anytime.

I must admit i'm very interested if its a one off payment and no subscription. Would certainly settle my mind if i had to leave it somewhere :)

Could be interested looks a ncie bit of kit. Any chance if you had an incar pc you could use it for satnav as well? The software seems to have maps etc, so presumably you could connect the gps etc up direct to the laptop?
