..i was going to Holland to take my daughter home...same route as normal. dover-calais.. straight up the motorway to Holland...

 

oke,this is 23miles out of the calais port.. :( so i am driving going to overtake a line of trucks when one of the ratches

strapes came loose and hit the road.... i had trucks to the right and centralreservation to the left...as i tryed to dodge the ratched it went under the car...ripped my effing gearbox to bits...

 

here are a few pic's of the oil and my car on it's first flatbed...

Can you make a claim with the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB)? They deal with "uninsured drivers" type claims.

 

P.S. how did you get on with the brakes

J the gun (jay) is on the way as we speak with the doner 300zx N/A auto....lets see how long it take's to swap......will look at the damage 2moro at Ztech and see ..but i hope it's just a gearbox swap....

WHOO doner car is here and very nice all running and a new rad...18in wheels with good rubber..single exhaust...driver's door is F***ED and front bumper,,and blacked out window's in the back....
